Lucas and Ness are both the main protagonists of their respective games. While having similar fighting capabilities, the two possess distinct differences. Ness is a more physical fighter, while Lucas uses more ranged, PSI-based attacks. But like Ness, most of his special PSI attacks were originally used by his fellow Earthbound partners.
