Takamaru is a samurai who is sent by the Shogun to infiltrate the mysterious Murasame Castle. Invading aliens had attacked the castle causing the Murasame statue to come to life. Takamaru is tasked with defeating it to bring peace back to Japan.
When summoned, Takamaru uses katana to slash opponents, as well as his 'Multidirectional Pinwheel Knife Rook Attack' to attack fighters in various directions.
